Hi Constance,

I want to start this email with a little intro of my own. I have been in ‘The business’ since 1976 ! Started as a receptionist at Mason McDuffie Mortgage on Telegraph Ave, and spun into a few years of escrow and title, then spun back into lending, getting my RE license in 1982 (I still keep it, ya never know…) I’ve been exclusively in lending for 34 years and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I get so much pleasure helping new homeowners make their dreams come true (or refinanciers (is that a word?) spend their equity or take down their payments). It really has been a most rewarding job.

As you can imagine, in 40 years, I have dealt with my share of Realtors, and I would have to say that working with Ms. Jualeah Shaw has certainly been one of my more pleasurable experiences. She was so gracious and responsive from the 1^st call, whereas she wanted to make sure ‘my’ buyer was a good fit for her listing. She stayed in touch, always answered when I called, and wasn’t afraid to pick up the phone herself when she had a question for me. She was always very sweet and informative. I thought we had a delightful experience and I hope I get the privilege of working with her again. We closed early, had absolutely no drama (that I was ever made aware of!), and I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to congratulate her and make sure you know that she’s an agent you can be proud of. Jualeah is very professional, yet she is still the sweetest lady. I had NO experience with trying to sell property, she explained everything and was happy to answer all of my questions. She was very easy to get in touch with, I never had to wait for updates! I was selling my mother’s home after she passed away, so this process was very difficult for me (mentally). My experience with Ms. Shaw was EPIC! She listened to my needs and wants and the search began. We went out only a few times before I found my home. I think what was so amazing was that I did not get the house at first but Ms. Shaw just knew that home was for me and she went above and beyond to inquire more information and by the grace of God we got that house! Buying a home as a single female along with a busy schedule can be pretty challenging, especially in the current real estate climate. Jualeah did a great job accommodating my availability and inconsistent schedule which kept me on track, making home buying a priority. Over the past several months we looked at countless houses that truly showed me what options were available in my range, which in the long run helped me determine what was really important to me in a home that would be mine for years to come. Jualeah Shaw is a Godsend. My wife and I decided it was time to purchase a home and after careful discussion we chose Ms. Shaw. We discussed with her our budget and what we wanted in our home. Within 10 days we were preapproved and Ms. Shaw immediately began making appointments to view homes. She forewarned us that right now this is a seller’s market and to be patient. Those words would carry me through the house hunting process. The first three weeks were very frustrating and I had told my wife maybe we should wait till the market cools off and she would remind me what Ms. Shaw had warned us, and to be patient.
